To create these paintings, acrylic inks and water are applied to Yupo paper and manipulated by hand to achieve a dynamic background. From this, the artist "discovers" the floral, bring it forward by negative painting and positive glazing. Final details and patterning are applied with ink and pen.  The Yupo is then mounted on a panel, an isolation coat applied for durability.
