It's been too long...

Sorry for the lack of communication but as we know, sometimes life gets in the way. For me, sometimes art takes a back seat to birdwatching once spring rolls around. And there was an unexpected trip to England in late April. I've just taken down my exhibit at the Brambleton Library which was up all of March and April with a few days in May added on. It was a fun show to put together as it encompassed art from the past 10 years (about as long as I have been seriously making art). Hope you got to see it.

Right now, I have 3 pieces left in the Art at the Mill show in quaint Millwood, Virginia at the Burwell-Morgan Mill, including Blue and Gold (left). A portion of all proceeds go to the Clark County Historical Society - a worthy cause. There are many lovely pieces of art by hundreds of local artists. You can view items in their web gallery. Entering 'Whittle' in the search box should bring up whatever pieces are left.
Upcoming shows include the Waterford Fair in October and a Loudoun Sketch Club show in October/November at Oatlands.
