Here are snippets of some of the new florals you will see at my Gallery One Exhibit, "Bigger Things" -coming May 6th through May 31. 2024. Gallery One is an exhibit space in the Loudoun County Government Center building in Leesburg, Virginia. It is located at 1 Harrison St SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. It is open 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday and there is a parking garage right next to it for your convenience. When entering the building, you'll have to go through the security to see the gallery on the right. This exhibit, "Bigger Things" - is ironically a collection of small floral paintings which don't necessarily reflect actual flowers or foliage but rather something 'bigger'. My hope is that they say something more about plants and flowers than any realistic rendering might say. I have always been fascinated by the myriad of forms, shapes, colors and structures that make up the plant world. Collectors of my floral images have commented on how these paintings make them smile. Come on out to the Government Center if you feel the need of a lift!
